John Bodine

John Bodine is the special-projects art director for Black Belt—well, that and maintenance man, computer technician and all around “Mr. Fix it,” depending on which hat he’s wearing at the time. A seven-year veteran at the magazine, John designs the Buyer’s Guide, ads, book interiors and covers, video and DVD covers, and just about anything else that comes across his desk. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing the guitar and camping at Jalama Beach in Santa Barbara, California. He doesn’t have a martial arts background, but his son, J.C., studies karate at Rising Sun in Valencia, California. jbodine@aimmedia.com
