Jun Fan gung fu and kali under Dan Inosanto
Thai boxing under Chai Sirisute
pentjak silat under Paul de Thouars
kali ilustrisimo under Antonio Ilustrisimo, Tony Diego and Christopher Ricketts

Richardson has earned a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt under Egan Inoue and has studied with the Machado brothers, Carlson Gracie, Baret Yoshida, Renato Verissimo and Marcelo Garcia.

The Hawaii-based master, one of the original Dog Brothers, has also journeyed to South Africa several times to train with Zulu warriors in stick fighting.
