Ken Harte

Jujutsu/Judo practioner Ken Harte teaches seminars to law-enforcement agencies and schools all around the world.

Ken Harte began his martial arts training more than 27 years ago with Black Belt Hall of Fame member George Kirby. Harte holds the rank of rokyudan (sixth degree) in jujutsu and is the senior judo/jujutsu instructor at the Santa Clarita Karate Academy in Santa Clarita, California. Harte teaches seminars to law-enforcement agencies and schools across the globe with respected martial artists such as and Gokor Chivichyan. Harte is also a certified instructor under LeBell, the U.S. Martial Arts Association, the U.S. Judo Association and the American Ju-Jitsu Association. He also holds the rank of rokyudan (sixth degree) in judo and karate. In 1993, Harte was appointed an adviser to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Civilian Martial Art Advisory Panel.

Harte has appeared in numerous magazine publications, training videos and motion pictures. He formed Camp Budo, where students can study under some of the finest instructors in a wide variety of martial arts.
