Don Warrener |
Warrener won the Canadian Championship in 1968 and the Eastern Canadian Championships in 1971. He set the world record for brick breaking in 1973 when he destroyed 3,744 bricks in four hours, 40 minutes. In 1997, he won the European and Pan-American Championships in both forms and weapons forms in the masters division of the World Karate Organization. In 1993, Warrener became the WKO vice president and organized the largest international tournament ever held in Canada, with more that 27 countries and 700 black belts participating. He also teaches seminars internationally and was one of the first people to teach martial arts business seminars.
