Ed Yuncza

Black Belt contributor Edward Yuncza has been writing for the magazine since 1995. The Trenton, New Jersey-based martial artist is the owner and chief instructor of E.Y. Martial Arts & Self-Defense Concepts. Yuncza—who has been involved in the martial arts for 25 years—holds a fifth-dan black belt in taekwondo under John Graden and a fourth-dan in karate. He is also a certified taekwondo, jeet kune do and karate instructor.

In addition, Yuncza is an information technology manager at Princeton University, and he enjoys mountain biking, swimming and spending time with his family.
