New Kapap DVD Collection Coming Soon!

Black Belt Magazine Video is proud to present its upcoming DVD series, Kapap Combat Concepts: Martial Arts of the Israeli Special Forces.

Featuring kapap authorities Avi Nardia and Albert Timen—plus special advisers such as Brazilian jiu-jitsu expert John Machado and Philippine martial arts authority Roger Agbulos—this four-DVD collection was conceptualized as an audio-visual companion to help explain and enhance the concepts outlined in their 2008 full-color book of the same name.

THE BOOK THAT
STARTED IT ALL

Test - KAPAP BOOK COVER
Before krav maga, haganah or lotar, kapap was the original Israeli fighting art.

As the tactical foundation of Israeli defense and security forces, kapap’s face-to-face combat system continues to serve a vital role in modern self-defense.

Originating in the 1920s, kapap is the Hebrew acronym for Krav Panim El Panim, meaning “face-to-face combat” and is the tactical foundation for martial arts like krav maga, haganah and lotar.

Today’s modern style evolved through and continues to be employed by Israeli defense, security and police forces as well as Israeli special-operations and anti-terrorist units.

Avi Nardia and Albert Timen promote and teach modern kapap to civilians and elite special forces around the world through the Kapap Academy.

In 2008 they codified this legendary system into the book Kapap Combat Concepts: Martial Arts of the Israeli Special Forces.

This 120-page, full-color book includes:
  • 350+ color photos of combat protocols
  • original kapap fighting theories
  • grappling techniques with Brazilian jiu-jitsu special adviser John Machado
  • position and movement principles for real-life combat application
  • training techniques for multiple-defensive responses
  • reality-based combat conditioning
  • knife drills
  • striking tactics
  • pressure points
  • ... and much more!
