This update of the 1984 classic is set in Beijing, China, and will reportedly borrow elements of the original plot, wherein a bullied youth learns to stand up for himself with the help of an eccentric mentor. As Han teaches Dre that kung fu is not about punches and parries, but maturity and calm, Dre realizes that facing down the bullies will be the fight of his life.
