Tad Nelson heads the Southern California Kapap Association and has been associated with the Kapap Academy since its inception. With more than 18 years of combined military and law-enforcement experience, Nelson applies his accumulated practical knowledge to his kapap training. Nelson is a graduate of the FBI’s firearms instructor course and is also a range safety officer for the Kapap Academy’s tactical handgun course.

Nelson also served as an editorial adviser for Avi Nardia and Albert Timen’s new book, Kapap Combat Concepts: Martial Arts of the Israeli Special Forces.
