A recent feature in The New York Times put several top martial arts training-gear companies' face-shields products to the test.

In the Times' Physical Culture section, writer Yishane Lee asked 27-year-old third-degree taekwondo black belt Christina Park to test a selection of four face shields.

Of the four, Tiger Claw's Clear Face Shield ranked highest.

According to the article, Park said, "I liked this design because the shield was one screen." This allowed for "excellent" forward and peripheral vision, while the large opening on the bottom portion prevented fogging.

Tiger Claw's Clear Face Shield is available at the Tiger Claw Web site for $47.95.
