Enter the E-Reader: The Black Belt Book Collection Returns

In the 1970s, Black Belt Magazines owner Mitoshi Uyehara created a book publishing company known as Ohara Publications. The book division went on the publish some of the most memorable books in martial arts history, including prolific names such as Jhoon Rhee, Fumio Demura and even Bruce Lee.

Today, we’re proud to announce the reimagined book collection—a fresh reboot of our classic series, coming soon to the new Black Belt website starting late October.

As a sneak preview, we're sharing one of the most memorable books ever printed: the 1971 Fumio Demura classic, Nunchaku: Karate Weapon of Self-Defense.
