Denver Event Moving to June 2026 after Stamp vs. Zamboanga and Multiple Other World Championship Bouts Did Not Materialize
ONE Championship (ONE), the world’s largest martial arts organization, today announced that Stamp Fairtex has suffered an injury setback while rehabbing her surgically repaired knee and will be forced to withdraw from her ONE Women’s Atomweight MMA World Championship unification bout versus Denice Zamboanga at ONE 173: Denver, originally scheduled to take place on August 1, 2025, at Ball Arena.
As a result of this marquee bout dropping off and multiple other World Championship headliners not materializing, the Denver event will be moved to June 26, 2026, at Ball Arena. In addition, given her nearly two-year hiatus from competition due to injury, Stamp has agreed to relinquish her title so that Zamboanga, the interim champion, can become the undisputed ONE Women’s Atomweight MMA World Champion.
Chatri Sityodtong, Chairman and CEO of ONE Championship, stated: “We are saddened to hear of the injury setback to Stamp and wish her nothing but the best in her road to recovery. After looking at multiple alternate headlining options that unfortunately did not come together, we have made the difficult decision to move our Denver event to June 26.
When bringing the world’s largest martial arts organization to the U.S., we strive to deliver the very best product to our passionate American fan base and put on the most entertaining and memorable show possible. The U.S. remains a high-priority market for ONE and our global business, and we remain committed to maintaining a strong presence in the region with monthly ONE Fight Night events in U.S. primetime and future on-ground events.”
Fans who have purchased tickets for ONE 173: Denver on August 1 will be contacted by Ticketmaster with the option to process a full refund or hold onto their tickets for the June 26 date.
