Denis Puric has finally secured his dream match against Rodtang Jitmuangnon. At ONE 167, the two flyweight strikers will meet in a kickboxing contest and put on a show for the fans.
Puric is coming off a phenomenal win over Muay Thai contender Jacob Smith at ONE Fight Night 11. “The Bosnian Menace” made it back-to-back wins on the global stage in just five months.
As he rides momentum into the matchup against “The Iron Man,” Puric will need to stay in top form. Rodtang’s return will be exciting for everyone as he looks to erase the taste of defeat.
Rodtang was last seen in a catchweight super-fight against Superlek Kiatmoo9 last September. In the biggest bout in Muay Thai history, the Thai star was edged by his contemporary in a thrilling contest that wowed audiences around the globe.
The Thai superstar was initially slated to welcome Takeru Segawa to the organization. However, an injury prevented Rodtang from stepping through the ropes.
Now fully healthy and ready to make his climb back inside the ring, Rodtang will be able to continue his own chase for two-sport gold.
The kickboxing battle will have a lot at stake for both men, and it will be added flavor to an already stacked lineup from the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
