BRAVE Combat Federation is poised to expand its European footprint by hosting its inaugural event in Burgas, Bulgaria on August 24. This addition will place Bulgaria alongside Slovenia, the Netherlands, Croatia, France, and Germany as one of BRAVE CF's European venues in 2024.
The decision follows BRAVE CF President Mohammed Shahid's visit to Burgas, which came at the invitation of Mayor Dimitar Nikolov. Burgas, already known for its K1 events, is set to capture the global MMA spotlight by hosting this first-ever BRAVE CF event in Bulgaria. This event marks a significant moment in the advancement of sports within the city and the country.
BRAVE CF has made significant inroads in European MMA, hosting events across 13 countries. With further events planned in the Netherlands on May 25, Croatia on September 28, and now Bulgaria, BRAVE CF will extend its presence to 16 European nations.
The Bulgarian event will be one of ten BRAVE CF events scheduled for 2024, with seven of these taking place in Europe as part of the organization's 2024 European Tour. BRAVE Combat Federation has started 2024 strongly, with a recent event in Slovenia on April 20, BRAVE CF 81, and an upcoming debut in Mauritius on May 11, signifying the organization's return to Africa.
