ONE Friday Fights 59 went down on Friday, April 19, from Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
The main event did not last long, but that was the theme of the night. With just one kick, Yamin PK Saenchai defeated Joachim Ouraghi.
After seemingly blocking the attack, the bout was halted as Ouraghi went to his corner to be checked by the ringside physician. The bout was called for an apparent injury to his hand after just 36 seconds.
Two other matches had endings in less than a minute as well.
Oh Su Hwan made a quick impression of the featherweight MMA division with a 28-second knockout of Kazumichi Murai. The South Korean made sure the night had an explosive start with the evening’s opening bout.
Later in the evening, Yodkitti FiatPathum scored a blistering 25-second knockout over Luapong Kaewsamrit with vicious body blows as soon as the bell rang.
But other matches went the whole nine minutes, ensuring fans saw incredible wars inside the ring.
Rambong Sor Therapat rallied against Petphupa Aekpujean in one of the night’s most memorable affairs. Petphupa was close to ending the bout in the first round after a high kick landed flush and wobbled Rambong. However, Rambong managed to weather the storm.
In the following rounds, Rambong took control and out-pointed his fellow countryman to score a narrow split decision win.
