Billy Blanks, the legendary creator of Tae Bo® who inspired millions in the 1990s, is back — this time in virtual reality. Taebo Reboot: Master of the Elements is now available on the Meta Quest Store for $19.99 USD, reimagining the world’s most iconic workout program for a new generation.

For the first time, players can step into a VR dojo and train directly with Blanks as their coach. Taebo Reboot transforms exercise into an immersive adventure so fun and engaging that players get the gains without the pain.
Fitness That Trains More Than Muscles
From VHS tapes to living rooms around the globe, Tae Bo® was famous for getting people moving with power and purpose. Now, Taebo Reboot takes the next step: it trains both the body and the brain. By striking moving targets, dodging obstacles, and reacting in real time, players build not just strength and stamina, but also focus, agility, and spatial awareness.
“On TV, you could punch and kick but nothing forced your movements and your timing to be very precise,” said Billy Blanks. “In Taebo Reboot, every strike has momentum and purpose. It teaches you to be mindful, present, and focused. You’re working your body and your mind at the same time.

Key Features
• Immersive VR Workouts blending cardio, martial arts, and rhythm
• 5 Elemental Books with more than 100 challenges
• Unlockable Progression with belts, gloves, and achievements
• Dynamic Training Worlds including gardens, temples, volcanoes, and cosmic arenas • Billy Blanks instructions and voiceovers motivating and guiding every step • Performance Tracking for precision, agility, and power
Fun First, Results Follow
Taebo Reboot is designed to make fitness so enjoyable that the workout doesn’t feel like work. Players stay hooked on the challenge and the experience — sweating, moving, and improving without the grind of a traditional gym routine.
“This isn’t about forcing yourself through another workout,” said Mickaël Nadeau, CEO of XPR Labs, the studio behind the game. “It’s about tricking yourself back into fitness. You’re so engaged in the adventure that the results sneak up on you, make your life a little bit easier every day.”

Backed by Athletes and Science
Already tested by athletes and fitness enthusiasts worldwide, Taebo Reboot has been endorsed by dozens of professional champions. At the Canadian Sports Institute in Calgary, the program was even recently used to measure Olympic athlete performance during product testing.
Victor Thériault, Canadian Director of Ring and Combat Sport Promotions at ISKA, who is also a partner in the project added a coach’s perspective:
“Fighters don’t just need strength, they need timing, rhythm, and focus. Taebo Reboot forces you to stay sharp. It’s perfect for warm-ups, cardio drills, and hand-eye work, while still building the core qualities we train every day: agility, power, precision, and endurance.”
The game was also awarded a grant by the Medteq+ Age-Well initiative for its potential to slow age related decline — further proof that fun, engaging workouts can deliver serious results.
