Since its establishment in 1968, the Black Belt Hall of Fame has acknowledged exceptional individuals whose significant contributions have profoundly influenced the martial arts community. Renowned personalities like Bruce Lee (Class of 1972), Bill Wallace (Class of 1973), Chuck Norris (Class of 1975), and Cynthia Rothrock (Class of 1983, recognized with a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2022) are among the distinguished honorees.
The induction ceremony for this year is scheduled for October 10, 2024, at the iconic Avalon Theater in Hollywood, California. Attendees can anticipate inspirational speeches from the esteemed inductees, enhancing the event's grandeur.

His filmography includes iconic roles in Kung Fu, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Big Trouble in Little China, and Rush Hour 2, where his performances showcased his martial arts prowess.
In addition to acting, Lew's talent as a stunt coordinator earned him a Primetime Emmy Award for his work on Luke Cage. His recent projects, such as Ultra Violet and Black Scorpion, highlight his continued influence in shaping martial arts action on screen.
