John "Hands of Stone" Lineker is charging up the ranks in ONE Championship’s bantamweight Muay Thai division with his signature knockout power. After delivering two jaw-dropping back-to-back KOs, Lineker is now ready to throw down once again. His next challenge? Longtime contender Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai.
The Brazilian slugger is fully aware of the formidable task ahead of him at ONE Fight Night 27, set for Friday, January 10, and he’s embracing the challenge with open arms.
“I've been following Kulabdam. I’ve watched some of his fights, and he’s a guy with a very versatile and dangerous game. I believe this will be a test of fire for me,” Lineker shared with ONE Championship.
Kulabdam, widely known by the moniker "Left Meteorite," has spent a lifetime honing his Muay Thai craft. Lineker recognizes the immense experience Kulabdam brings to the table and knows this fight will be no walk in the park.
“Kulabdam grew up doing Muay Thai—he was practically born into it. In Thailand, you’re born training in Muay Thai, so this will definitely be a huge test for me,” he acknowledged.
Kulabdam himself is coming off a spectacular knockout victory, having dispatched Suablack Tor Pran49 at ONE Friday Fights 81. With both fighters riding high on knockout momentum, fans can expect nothing short of fireworks when they meet in the ring.
Despite the shared appetite for throwing bombs, Lineker believes their contrasting styles will define the battle.
“Our styles are very different. I rely heavily on my boxing, while he’s all about traditional Muay Thai. So, this fight will be a true clash of styles—my boxing against his Muay Thai. It’s bound to be an exciting matchup,” the 34-year-old said confidently.
And, of course, Lineker’s most dangerous asset? His fearsome fists.
“Without a doubt, the most dangerous weapons I bring to this fight are my ‘hands of stone,’” he added.
For Lineker, fighting is not just about victory—it’s about entertaining the fans. The Brazilian has no interest in leaving the outcome to the judges and is laser-focused on delivering another spectacular knockout performance at Lumpinee Stadium.
“As with all my fights, I step into the ring to win by knockout. I don’t like to leave it in the hands of the judges. This fight will be no different. I can’t predict the exact round, but I will be hunting for the KO at all times,” he promised.
Fans can also look forward to a potential future super-fight, as Lineker has set his sights on none other than Rodtang Jitmuangnon, one of the most electrifying fighters in the world.
“Yes, I want to fight Rodtang someday. His fighting style matches mine—we both love to stand in the middle of the ring and trade punches until someone drops. It would be an incredible fight. I respect his style, and it’s the kind of fight I live for,” Lineker remarked.
His desire to face Rodtang isn’t born out of arrogance—it stems from a deep belief in his abilities and a relentless drive to test himself against the very best in the sport.
“Rodtang is a great professional and a phenomenal fighter, but I know what I’m capable of. I’ve been fighting since I was 12 years old, and every time I step into the ring, I do so to win. Facing Rodtang would be no different,” he stated.
“I’ve never underestimated any opponent, and I won’t start with Rodtang. He’s an elite athlete, but I know my potential, and I trust in my skills.”
With Lineker laser-focused on his upcoming battle against Kulabdam and a future showdown with Rodtang on the horizon, ONE Fight Night 27 promises to be an unmissable night of action.
