A thrilling new rivalry is heating up in the BRAVE Combat Federation's Super Welterweight division as undefeated African sensation Eliezer Kubanza sets his sights on a potential clash with former champion Marcin Bandel.
Kubanza turned heads yesterday with a respectful yet bold social media callout, writing, “OG, let’s throw some hands in 2025. I’ll be honoured to share the cage with you.” The callout received a promising response from Bandel, who is eager to return to winning ways.
“When I come back to a winning streak, of course. All the best in 2025,” Bandel replied, leaving the door open for what could be a blockbuster matchup.
Bandel, who once held the Super Welterweight crown, has faced a challenging 2024. After losing his title to Kamal Magomedov at BRAVE CF 77 in 2023, Bandel was stopped by Alex Lohoré in his 2024 return at BRAVE CF 83, extending his winless streak to two. Despite the setbacks, the Polish fighter remains determined to reclaim his spot among the division’s elite.
Meanwhile, Kubanza has had a stellar year, racking up two impressive victories. He dominated Salamat Orozakunov at BRAVE CF 85 and followed it up with a win over Zagid Gaidarov at BRAVE CF 91, keeping his undefeated record intact and moving one step closer to a title shot.
