Have you ever trained in China?

Back in 1983, Black Belt Magazine featured Roger Tung on its cover—a true Hall of Fame Pioneer of American Wushu. More than just a celebrated sifu, Tung was a driving force behind introducing Wushu to the United States.

In the early 1980s, he helped lead some of the first American training delegations to mainland China, forging a historic cultural exchange.

His influence can be seen in the success of martial arts legends like Anthony Chan, Keith Cooke, Peter Morales, Dennie Brown, and Cynthia Rothrock.
