Black Belt Magazine, the world's longest-running martial arts publication, proudly celebrates Black Belt Hall of Fame's Class of 2024!
Since its inception in 1968, the Black Belt Hall of Fame has recognized exceptional individuals whose remarkable contributions have left an indelible mark on the martial arts community.
Among the legends previously honored are Bruce Lee (Class of 1972), Bill Wallace (Class of 1973), Chuck Norris (Class of 1975), and Cynthia Rothrock (Class of 1983, who also received a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2022).
This year's induction ceremony is scheduled for October 10, 2024, at the legendary Avalon Theater in Hollywood, California. The event will feature presentations from some of the most revered Hall of Fame inductees, enhancing the occasion's prestige.

From his early days as a devoted student of Mas Oyama to his esteemed role as a Karate Master and global ambassador, Royama’s journey exemplifies the spirit of Kyokushin karate through his unwavering commitment and profound influence.
