The UFC will make its comeback on September 14 with the first live sporting event at Sphere Las Vegas for UFC 306 during Riyadh Season Noche UFC.
This has been described by Dana White as a 'love letter' to Mexico, honoring the Mexican people for their remarkable impact on combat sports. It also upholds the longstanding tradition of hosting major fights during Mexican Independence Day.
Two UFC title fights will be the main attractions of the event. Bantamweight champion Sean O'Malley will defend his title against the No. 1 contender Merab Dvalishvili in the main event. In the co-main event, women's flyweight champion Alexa Grasso will defend her belt in the third fight of her trilogy against former champion Valentina Shevchenko.
Watch UFC 306 live on ESPN+ Pay-Per-View. This marks the inaugural 1080p TV broadcast of a UFC event in ESPN's history. The prelims kick off at 7:30 pm ET / 4:30 pm on ESPNEWS/ESPN+, while the PPV main card begins at 10:00 pm ET / 7:00 pm PT.
