To San 도산 Hyung 형

By Eric San Jose

To San Hyung is a Beginner Form with great basic movement that has direct self defense applications.  Such as the outer forearm block into a reverse punch.

I personally like the introduction of the spear hand strike which is applied in trapping.   Using the angles of the cage I can focus on the double blocks towards the end of the form which simulate defensive moves against choking maneuvers.  One of my favorite’s due to it being direct, clean, and simple.
